Disabled Facilities

We have disabled toilets and parking on site and an easily accessible camping area can be arranged (this must be arranged in advance), please email info@barefootfestival.com for more information.

Most of the main site is reasonably flat and easily accessible in good weather. In very muddy weather we have found that some people have had problems with some wheelchairs during the worst of the mud over the whole site. We do our best to keep everyone moving, but please do be aware that this is an open-air event in a grassy field and we cannot guarantee the ground conditions.

We offer a free ticket for a carer if you receive middle or higher rate DLA and they are aged over 18 years (these tickets are limited and are subject to availability). This ticket must be pre-arranged via email and proof of DLA support must be provided when applying for your free carer ticket. Free Career ticket can only be issued with a full priced Adult Ticket purchased via our ticket sellers WeGot Tickets and cannot be used in conjunction with any other special offer tickets. For clarification of eligibility for a free carer ticket or to organise your free carer ticket please contact us via email at info@barefootfestival.com.

Children at Barefoot Festival

Barefoot Festival™ is a family-friendly event, we do everything we can to make our event great for the whole family, allowing the opportunity for some good old fashioned free-range fun. In fact Barefoot Festival™ has been described as one of the most truly child friendly events!

Whilst Barefoot Festival™ is a family friendly event, you are required to accept responsibility for your children at all times. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a ticket holding adult. We have a ratio policy for safety reasons of one adult to every two children under the age of 12 years, if you have more children please bring a friend or other responsible adult to accompany them.

Barefoot Festival™

Workshops

Some workshops have number restrictions and age limitations due to health and safety reasons. Although we take careful consideration about capacity when booking our marquees and tents, all workshops and entertainment is on a first come first served basis and we cannot guarantee entrance. We recommend you arrive on time for your workshops to avoid disappointment.

Program of workshops, performers, facilities and venues offered throughout the weekend are be subject to change or cancellation. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances, including adverse weather conditions or cancellation of workshops, performances, facilities or venues.

Some workshops require you to bring your own yoga mat or towel and for your comfort please bring a picnic mat or rug to sit on during the evening entertainment.

By entering a workshop or class at Barefoot Festival™, it is accepted that you are in good health and have checked with a health care professional before commencing any physical activity.

Camping

Barefoot Festival™ do not provide any camping equipment and you must provide and erect your own tents. We provide fresh running water and plenty of regularly cleaned portable toilets, although it is advisable to bring a spare toilet roll just incase.

As you can imagine the clean up task after a Barefoot Festival™ is considerable. Please help us by taking your rubbish and recycling home with you. Please respect the various recycling points around the festival site by placing correct items in the appropriate waste bins.

Please don't bring glass onto the festival site as the land is used for grazing animals at other times.

Due to the 'back to nature' concept of Barefoot Festival™ we ask that you do not bring either sound systems or generators with you.

Unfortunately due to health and safety there are to be no camp fires in the camping area. BBQ's and Camping Stoves are allow as long as they are raised off the ground and all rubbish, including used coals, are to be taken home with you to dispose of.

Throughout the whole Barefoot Festival™ we have a stewarding team who will keep a watchful eye on the camping area, however we cannot accept responsibility for any losses that may occur, we therefore advise you to keep your belongings safe at all times.

Barefoot Festival™

Parking

In keeping with most other UK events, we are trying to reduce our carbon (bare)foot print, we encourage car sharing and the use of public transport to reduce carbon emissions, we hope you will support us with this.

For health and safety reasons we have arranged for cars to be parked in a designated area a short walk from the campsite and there will be a small car parking fee (please see Buy Tickets page for full information).

Although the walk from the car park to the campsite is short, we understand that it can be challenging with large amounts of equipment and/or with children in tow. Therefore we offer a trolley hire service which will be available from just outside the main car park.

Those in Campers, Caravans or other Live In Vehicles can stay in their vehicles in the camping area for an additional fee (please see Buy Tickets page for full information).

Live In Vehicles; upon arrival please inform a car parking attendant you have purchased a Live In Vehicle Weekend Parking Pass. You will be asked to temporarily park your vehicle and directed to the front gate. At the front gate your ticket confirmation must be shown, once ticket conformation has been approved a wrist band will be issued. Once you have wrist bands for all your party, you will be requested to return to your vehicle and then will be directed to the campsite entrance.

A 5 mile an hour speed limit is in force at all times while on the campsite and hazard lights must be kept on when moving your vehicle. Once you have parked your vehicle please try to avoid moving it unless absolutely necessary and all engines must be kept switched off once on site.
