Barefoot by name and barefoot by nature!

Prestwold Hall

The aim of the week end is to go back to back to our roots for the week end, we hope that you reconnect with yourself, sit around the camp fire with the sounds of live drumming in your ears, take a moment out from the stresses and strains of our busy lives and yes – dance barefoot in the sunshine!  You won’t find a hair straightening booths at the festival or a corporate sponsor. Facilities are simple, this way we keep the ticket prices low and the experience wild! We prefer to offer great entertainment professional teachers, amazing performer s and fantastic tents and marquees that work with the great British weather!  If camping in the great outdoors isn’t your cup of tea, please see our list of alternative accommodation options on the Location page.

Our venue is Prestwold Hall in Leicestershire. This is a splendid venue, set in the grounds of a beautiful stately home and gorgeous rolling countryside. We keep our Barefoot site plan fairly contained and intimate, so camping and parking is within walking distance. We have disabled parking and if you need assistance of this nature please do let one of our volunteers know and we’ll aim to accommodate your needs as much as we can.

We have fresh running water on site.  We always book ample amounts of Porta Loos which will be cleaned twice during the week end, we will try to keep the loos stocked up with loo paper but please bring your own, just in case!! It also might be an idea to bring a torch if nature calls in the night, with no light pollution in the countryside and a new moon,  it can get pretty dark! There will also be disabled Porta Loos.

We are in the process of setting up the possibility of “Glamping” or “Comfy Camping” so you can book your tent or tipi online before hand and it will be all set up for you upon arrival!! This will be at an extra cost and more details will be added here soon about these options.
