In July 2026, Barefoot Festival returns and this time, it’s extra special. We’re celebrating 20 years of Barefoot, and we can’t wait to welcome you back for a truly magical anniversary gathering. We are returning to the wonderful Cattows Farm in North West Leicestershire.
Our much-loved Big Top will once again be the beating heart of the festival, bursting with dance and movement workshops, a high-energy family rave with DJs, and our spectacular burlesque show, hosted by the fabulous Talulah Blue. Expect joy, connection, and moments that stay with you long after the canvas comes down.
Across the site, you’ll find dedicated yoga spaces, tranquil holistic tents, and heartfelt ceremonies and rituals. We are lucky enough to share workshops gathered around our beautiful stone circle, nestled in a peaceful meadow. These are spaces to slow down, tune in, and reconnect with yourself, with others, and with nature.
Music lovers will feel right at home in our Band Tent, featuring an eclectic mix of live acts and wonderfully talented local musicians.
As the sun sets, we come together to close the evenings in true Barefoot style with our much-loved headphone disco under the stars.
Creative spirits can lose themselves in the Art Tent, while our expanded Forest School and Bushcraft area for 2026 offers even more adventure. Expect messy play, marshmallows around the campfire, wood carving, and hands-on outdoor skills. Our Family Tent is packed with play, laughter, and activities for all ages, because Barefoot is for everyone.
One of the most moving moments of the weekend is our magical fire labyrinth, a glowing, immersive journey and a truly unforgettable experience. Whether you’re returning after many years or discovering Barefoot for the first time, 2026 is the year to be here. Come celebrate, connect, dance barefoot, and be part of our story.

Barefoot Festival is all about getting back to basics, feeling the grass between your toes, and taking a break from the pressures of modern life. Try something new, spend quality time with your loved ones, and meet new friends. If you want a sneak peek, check out our magical video of Barefoot Festival 2021, created by the incredibly talented Dan Burgess at Vagabond Media.
We started in 2006, growing through word of mouth and recommendations. We are Leicestershire’s best-kept secret, with no corporate sponsors. Barefoot Festival is a grassroots gathering with big festival vibes and atmosphere. Enjoy stars overhead, fresh air, great company, and a communal campfire. From fantastic music and amazing workshops to a wide variety of activities and performances, we have something for everyone.
Expect a range of unique experiences, from capoeira and Bollywood dance routines to shamanic drumming circles and hula hooping. You can also take part in yoga, sound baths, and breathing ceremonies. Our forest school and bushcraft area offer great experiences for kids, and our amazing cabaret show hosted by the sensational Talulah Blue will leave you in awe.
We also have onsite massage therapists and healers, fantastic festival food from around the globe, fair-trade crafts, a fully licensed bar, and plenty of chill spaces to relax. The event is intimate yet bursting with energy and life.
More announcements are coming soon, so keep an eye on our socials and website for further details.
Please Note: We do not have showers onsite, and we use compost toilets. We do not have chemical waste facilities. Every adult camping ticket holder must also purchase a fully refundable sustainability ticket to ensure the site is left as we found it. With proof of a clean campsite, you can claim your refund. All other ticket types are non-refundable and non-transferable, regardless of the circumstance.
